Thank you Kamga Tchassa for tagging me to participate in the 40 things that I love challenge.

This task was actually harder than I thought…..there is so much I didn’t know about myself, but I certainly enjoyed digging deeper.

So, here I go, in no particular order.

1. Autumn is my favourite season — the wonders of nature that always takes my breath away.

2. Jacaranda tree, it reminds me of my childhood in Nairobi.

3. The smell of soil, just when it’s starting to rain…oh if only I could eat it.

4. Watching raindrops roll down my window.

5. Dark grey clouds, heavy rain, lightning, and thunderstorms…of course, only when I am indoors, and I could watch through the window. And this brings me to…

6. Indoors…my home.

7. Indoor plants.

8. Peonies — delicate, breath-taking!.

9. Scented candles, especially the ones that make my kitchen smell like I have cinnamon or vanilla cookies baking in the oven.

10. Wine — my latest discovery of good wines are from Styria province of Austria; Weissburgunder, Grüner Veltliner, and Zweigelt are my favourites.
