Oh yes….very much so! My husband holds an Austrian passport….he only had to do a driving test once when he went for studies for a year in America, but it was a quick test and you get the DL right away. In all other countries we’ve been to, he goes smooth….no test, no classes. I have talked to friends and colleagues…and all go through the same problems unless you hold an EU/American passport. But I am not ready to give up my shit-hole passport yet….because Austria doesn’t allow dual citizenship.
